Organizations and projects
Members and roles, seats, projects, and the project the CLI uses.
An organization holds your projects, your members and your plan. A project holds sources, routes and the requests they receive.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”When you sign up, you name your first organization, and Hookspot adds a Default project to it. You are its Owner. You can belong to several organizations and create more from the Organizations page.
Members join the organization, not a project, so a member’s role applies to every project in it. The organization’s plan sets its limits, as Plans and limits describes.
| Role | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything an Admin can do, plus deleting projects and the organization. Nobody can change the Owner’s role or remove them. |
| Admin | Invite and remove members, change their roles, rename the organization and change the plan. Everything a Member can do. |
| Member | Create, change and delete sources and routes in every project, send test requests, replay requests and retry deliveries. |
| Viewer | Open projects, requests and deliveries, and see members and billing. Viewers cannot change sources or routes, replay requests or retry deliveries. |

project. You pick it when you approve hookspot login. To switch, name the
organization and the project:
