Plans and limits
What counts as a request, and what happens past the monthly limit.
Each organization is on the Free plan or the Pro plan. The plan sets how many requests the organization gets each month, how long Hookspot keeps them and how many members it can have.
| Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Requests a month | 25,000 | 250,000 |
| Stops accepting at | 50,000 | 500,000 |
| Retention period | 14 days | 60 days |
| Members | 3 | 25 |
Both plans have the same features. Pricing lists the prices.
Requests that count
Section titled “Requests that count”Every request Hookspot stores counts toward the month. That includes Rejected requests and test requests. A replay or a delivery retry does not count again.
The count starts again on the 1st of each month, at midnight UTC.
Monthly limit
Section titled “Monthly limit”Going over the limit does not stop your webhooks right away:
| Requests this month | What happens |
|---|---|
| 80% of the limit | A notice appears on every project page and on the organization’s Overview and Settings. |
| Over the limit | Hookspot keeps accepting webhooks up to twice the limit. Billing calls this the grace zone. |
| Twice the limit | Hookspot turns new webhooks away and stores nothing until the count starts again. |
You can still replay stored requests and retry their deliveries. Upgrade to Pro to accept new webhooks again within seconds.
Retention
Section titled “Retention”Hookspot deletes requests older than the retention period, together with their deliveries and attempts. Deleted requests do not come back when you upgrade.
Members
Section titled “Members”Every member takes a seat, the Owner too, and so does every pending invitation. When all seats are taken, the invite form is disabled. Remove a member, revoke an invitation or upgrade to Pro to free a seat.
Upgrade to Pro
Section titled “Upgrade to Pro”You need the Owner or Admin role.
- Open the organization’s Settings › Billing.
- Click Upgrade to Pro.
- Pick Monthly or Yearly and click Start free trial.
- Enter your card in the checkout. Paddle runs it and adds tax where it applies.
Pro starts as soon as Paddle confirms the checkout and covers every project and member of the organization. Its 60-day retention period applies to the requests you already have.
The trial lasts 14 days. When it ends, Paddle charges the card for the plan you picked, unless you cancel Pro first.
An organization gets one trial, and only if it never had a subscription. Otherwise the button reads Continue to checkout, and you pay in the checkout right away.
Cancel Pro
Section titled “Cancel Pro”You need the Owner or Admin role.
- Open the organization’s Settings › Billing.
- Click Manage billing.
- Cancel on the Paddle page that opens.
Billing then reads Canceled, active until the end of the period you paid for. During the trial, that is the trial’s end, and Paddle does not charge the card. On that date the organization moves to Free:
- The request limit and the seats switch to Free at once.
- Nobody is removed. While the organization has more members than Free allows, nobody new can join.
- The retention period stays at 60 days for 7 more days. Then Hookspot deletes requests older than 14 days.
If the organization already received twice the Free limit that month, Hookspot turns new webhooks away until the count starts again.
